£33 million a year would easily make him the highest paid athlete in the world. Of course getting black lung in China for it may not ultimately be worth it, but he'd be the top earner in the world, so if he has to ego for it, maybe he will.

Rafa Benitez, from Madrid to....Newcastle. Talk about a lifestyle adjustment, but apparently he's going to sign a deal there with McLaren getting the boot.

In FA Cup action today Diego Costa might have bitten Gareth Barry. Its really a weird video (which is here in Russian, but really the pictures speak for themselves!)
Maybe he's a vampire, but regardless that could earn him sometime on the sidelines.
Solid win for Spurs today. I looked at the clock at about 38 minutes and I was a little concerned. It's a performance we've seen before from them where they look good and have all kinds of chances for the first half, but let the other team off the hook. The goal from Kane at 45' was big. Then they got another fairly early in the 2nd half and it was basically over. Villa had a couple of chances late, but by then Spurs were on total cruise control.
So the gap is down to 2 again, with Leicester playing Newcastle tomorrow. That should be a win for them, but you never know I guess. Spurs get eliminated against Dortmund this week (almost a certainty at this point) and then host Bournemouth at home. They handled them well at Bouremouth earlier this year and at this stage of the season they need a win again. It could still be an exciting run over the last games!

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is convinced that Leicester City will win the Premier League this season.
Asked whether Leicester can sustain their form and claim glory, Ferguson replied in The Sunday Times: "Of course they can. I believe they will win it with three games to spare."
Wow. Heavy stuff there Sir Alex. This is why he gets the big bucks, prognostications like when he predicts that the league leaders by 5 points with a relatively easy run-in are going to win.
Revolutionary stuff.

Got to give it to Leicester - that game had the makings of a banana-skin game - new manager, team that needs to win to stay in the division, and they manage to eke out the win.
Other outcome of this game - next weeks Tyne-Wear derby will be epic!
