Did we seriously just add Tulowitzki and Price over the course of 3 days?
This may be the craziest sequence I've ever experienced as a Jays fan. Cannot complain that the Jays are not going for it anymore.
This will be a fun, fun final stretch.

He seemed to right it before his injury, so I think you need to see how it shakes out with him in the rotation for longer term than we've seen before you deem him a reliever.

I actually agree, Jays had to make a move now as after 2016 could be bleak regardless of these moves. I also said that when I thought it was Norris/Alford +, not so bad now that the trade is out.
And...
From Darren Haynes
Troy Tulowitzki himself scored more runs last night than David Price has allowed in eight of his last 10 starts.

I dunno man, I put more weight into his entire MILB career + the majority of his MLB starts then a couple of outings pre-injury.
Regardless, the Jays are all-in now... no more "figuring stuff out" at the MLB level.
At least we know that he's good out of the pen.

I prefer this Darren Haynes tweet.....
@DarrenWHaynes: David Price is a career .061 hitter -- 2 for 33 with 16 strikeouts. Doesn't seem like a fit for that Blue Jays line-up.

2015 he should stay in the pen no doubt, I'm just suggesting for '16 and beyond.

Can Price pitch in three days rest for the rest of the season? Get our money's worth out of him while we have him? Get back in this race? 7 games to make up is it????

For 2016 one of Sanchez or Osuna will be a starter in my opinion
Key question is will the Jays pick up the option on RA Dickey next season?

"MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan reports that there's a possibility of Yovani Gallardo being traded to the Blue Jays.
Texas just beefed up its rotation with the Cole Hamels trade, but the club is still buried in the American League Wild Card race and could sell some parts. Gallardo is due to become a free agent this winter. If the price is right, it sounds like the Rangers will move him.

Even if they don't I doubt Dickey wants to move or would have a lot of suitors.
You can always decline the option and resign for a 1 year deal at a lower cost.

Franchise changing moves.
The young fans (16-25) who have surfaced as Jays fans after the Marlins trade, they need to see results. Must play meaningful baseball in September or else another generation might be lost.

2 out (The Orioles are 1 out).
With regards to Dickey, I think they'll pick up his option unless they can actually convince Price to extend (they'll need Dickey's money for that).

They will have Romero's $ too, the amount they are paying him not to play drops from something like 7.5 million to 600k

Yeah, but the thing you have to realize is that a lot of players are also getting raises (every arbitration eligible guy + everyone on a backloaded deal). The Jays are not the Yankees or Dodgers... payroll parameters limit what the Jays are allowed to do.
