Gaby and Erin are into the semi-finals of women's doubles with a hard fought 6-4 6-7 6-4 win over Krejcikova and Siegemund.

I'm thinking 4 sets max against a rested Novak but it's been a bit of a weird Wimbledon this year so who knows?

Yeah, I could see Novak dropping the opening set and giving some false hope to Musetti before taking the next three sets.

Kind of like Alcaraz vs Paul.

I for one certainly didn't have Paolini vs. Krejcikova as the women's final before the fortnight started.

I figured Rybakina was almost a shoo-in for the title going into today's match. It's been a weird Wimbledon.

Charlie and Meddy tied at 1 set each - This is Daniil's best chance to make a Wimbledon final as Charlie is a little off his game today.

Meddy played quite well today, but when Charlie starts turning it on and plays some of his best tennis, it just seems inevitable what's going to happen.

Gaby and Erin have advanced to the women's doubles final at Wimbledon and will face the tandem of Katherine Siniakova and Taylor Townsend who eliminated the top seeds (Mertens and Hsieh) earlier foday. A Wimbledon title is the only one Gaby has yet to claim.

Alcaraz is looking very good in this semi-final. At least Novak is going to have to face someone like him finally if he's going to win another title this year.

This is probably the easiest path to a slam final I've ever seen on the Djokovic side. Unbelievable the luck he's had to get a w/o to the semis and only really having to navigate Rune as a player with the tools to potentially beat a top 10 player.

Go Charlie!

Oh, does that mean I'm booing Djokovic?

Next week we get a match up for the ages; Nadal vs Borg. In his first tournament since the French Open, Nadal will face son of Bjorn, Leo Borg

Congrats to Krejcikova, but Jasmine has to be kicking herself, she had a great chance to get her first slam and let it slip through her fingers.

Bah, Gaby and Erin lose two tie-breaks to Siniakova and Townsend. Oh well, great run to the final.

This is what happens when you bring a fiddle to a tennis match.

Charlie 35-0 in grand slams when winning the first two sets. 9-0 at Wimbledon.

Still room on the Alcaraz to 30 majors train. That by traditional standards he's still 4-5 years from his peak is pretty comical.

Edit: Wasn't expecting that choke from 40-0. Imagine he loses now lol.
