I think its unlikely he ever gets 104 points again...I would have told you that a week ago or a month ago
I am happy to bet the under on 100 points if you like
Its just funny the guy that ripped the team all season plus playoffs is now going out of his way to say how great Tkachuk is
I think he is a very good player, he also has some major weaknesses that I don't think age well on a 10.5x8 or whatever, pretty sure you felt the same way not too long ago

I’m prepared for a underwhelming return. Limited trading partners and the vultures circling. I’ll be happy to be wrong though

I’m on with an underwhelming return if it’s mainly picks and prospects. We can gain more just by drafting higher

Very unlikely the Flames draft anyone as good as some of the rumored players

People actually think that Treliving and Co. have drafted elite talent in the past

In another timeline, we traded for little brother and MT signed 8x10.
And then I woke up, went to my computer, did that in FHM, and typed this.
Hopefully STL lost their mind and give us Kyrou + Thomas + 1st.
We are due to win a trade, are we?

Team drafts well but nobody can see the future
Kyrou just had 75 points and then 7 goals in 12 playoff games...pretty unlikely you draft better than that
odds
Pretty good 2nd full year in the NHL

Fascinating read/thread if true and seems to cement 90% or what's been reported/speculated/etc.

Key with STL is they have to dump a lot of cap somehow. $625,000 in cap space.
Kyrou only makes $2.8M so if they were to sign Tkachuk for $9M for example then Tarasenko's $7.5M needs to move too.

I'm not sure what they mean by a Rangers style retool... The Rangers did not retool. They blew up the whole ####ing team.

They did but then signed panarin and trouba after 1 season.
I’m game for this exact approach.

So draft top two twice, and hope a top free agent winger comes here instead of leaving here, AND hope a Norris trophy young D man just wants to sign with us instead of leaving us.
Got it, that’s pretty simple.

I still feel the same way. I don’t think he is a franchise or can carry the team.
But I am not going to say he can’t repeat his career year at 24. He is an all star level player on his own.

I’m saying a similar approach doesn’t mean we need to sign the next panarin
Trade anyone who isn’t committed to this team long term
Tkachuk
Mangiapane
Kylington
Anyone who requests a trade
Stock pile a ton of assists and cap space and maybe it’s either a trade or sign someone big next off season
