Yah, we kinda do that...and slam our jackets. It's really a shame that all the tickets were sold out prior and not many Calgary and Queen's fans could go.

You went to UWO troutman, or was it McGill? I remember a comment about mannequins a while ago!

U of C gave that one away. T.O.'s just killed them.

Yeah you can't turn the ball over five times and expect to win a championship.

I went to MRC, U of C, UWO and UBC.

Years ago, Queens fans stormed the field at McGill, and "raped" mannequins. It caused quite the sensation.

Queen's students have jackets representing their respective faculties and is a tradition.

Applied Science students (engineers) have jackets that they get and slam after their first set of final exams in December. They dye them purple (colour representative for the faculty) and slam continuously until all the engineers slam in unison or until they get tired. Their jackets are called GPA's (Golden Party Armour). The jackets are naturally yellow/gold and fade back to that colour after the purple fades with wear and slamming.

Slamming is something engineers just do :P

(Crappy Video Quality showing slamming after exams)

(O yah, they also climb a huge pole (a football upright stolen from U of T) covered in lanolin grease to grab a tam at the top. Engineers have weird traditions here!)

Sorry I can't get the embedding right.

Interesting tradition that the Queens eng people have. At UBC our engineers usually target a bridge and suspend the frame of a VW beetle. One time they did it at Golden Gate bridge effectively shutting down San Francisco bay from sea traffic and wreaking havoc on bridge traffic. To this day the UBC eng students are still not identified, even after police investigations.

Dino's seemed to spend half time patting themselves on the back and planning their victory party. A total lack of focus and execution in the second half, which is surprising considering the coaching staff there. A tough way to lose a game, but give Queen's a loot of credit for not folding the tent at the half.
