I know you aren’t a Huska fan, but time will expose him, or he’ll develop as a coach and make meaningful impact.
Huska has to figure out a way to coach strong even strength offense. Has to find a way to get more out of these players (…but it’s also not a talented group).
I’m not hyper focused on any one specific failing on Huska. If he wants to be a head coach in this league, he has to find a way to get more out of these players at even strength, that’s what good coaches do.
A good goalie covers a lot of poor coaching decisions, it’s on Huska to find a way to get more out of them this season. If he can’t, then he can’t and the Flames will move on (…eventually). Huska is very much in that stage of his career where he has to prove he’s a worthwhile coach. Time will tell.

Back to backs are tough enough, let alone in two rivals home openers. And yesterday was quite the marathon.
Hanging around and keeping the game close is what you're probably hoping for in this situation.

Seeing Mikkelson in the intermission reminds me, have they announced who will be doing colour on the tv broadcasts when Hrudey is in Toronto for HNIC?

Agreed!
I am a big Wolf fan, however, he is being heavily counted on.
Yet, objectively, he has to be accountable.
He has been good…except for two weak goals, in the first two games.
