I reported back at the deadline the offer was a 2025 1st protected and Holtz, I believe the Flames substituted Bahl here as they value him more and didn't really want another winger. That's a solid return for Markstrom.

This seems like fair value. 34 year old goalie who doesn't really want to be here, the rumours of Mercer + 1st etc. just were never happening.
