Yeah that makes sense.

It did seem like he was being checked as soon as he touched the puck, when you watched his Florida highlights he is in open space and making plays. Here it seemed like as soon as the puck got on his stick he was getting checked.

Easily could have had 2-3 more points last night if guys can hit open nets.

Fun player to watch when he is feeling it and is confident.

And it was partially his own doing too.

He wasn't moving his feet or doing a good job of getting himself into open space before receiving the pass.

But part of it was also just the spacing among the forwards seemed really off, the teams forwards were almost playing too close to one another and it led to guys always playing with the puck in traffic instead of open space.

Before the season started Ras sat down with Friedman and Marek for an interview. He mentioned in a Canadian market you have to embrace the chaos. He doesn't shy away from the spotlight. He's our future captain.

My late father actually used old Eaton's catalogues for that, when he was a kid playing pond hockey.

I think we have found out why they call him sharky. A post game video had the team cheering Sharangovich when he got his 3rd puck and some guys chanted "Shark Bait Hoo Ha Ha" from finding Nemo.
