Wheel of justice. Should have been a two game suspension but likely doubled due to the player and the game time, both of which should be irrelevant when determining suspensions.

I think 4 games is an appropriate number of games but the Heritage Classic kind of pushes it over the edge for me.

What a joke , back in my day guys weren't these lily Livered Poltroons like today's players afeared of getting a good ol elbow to the chops. Laine was like Deaths head on a mopstick I'm so tired of these mollycoddled millionaires who want to have mental acuity after their careers. So what nincompoop decided on 4 games?

It'll probably be the Wideman situation all over again.
By the time the decision is made he'll have sat out more than he should have. Wideman missed 19 games and his suspension ended up getting reduced to 10.

More than I thought, but I have no issues with it at all. It was malicious and unnecessary. It's exactly the type of play the DOPS needs to punish harshly.

Oh FFS....The NHL wheel of Justice again. They should have a price is right wheel where the player gets the best of 3 spins and they settle the score there.
Such crap . I've seen so many unpunished hits In 40 years of watching this game and this IS reDICKulous.
