If nothing else, the acquisition of Tyler "Taffoli" has proven that lots of posters don't really care about how to spell the names of the Flames.

Hope we see a full 60 tonight, going up big in Game 1 led to some bad hockey so they can’t let that happen again.
Serevalli was on 960 yesterday and he talked about how Nurse looks like he’s injured: didn’t play any PP minutes and threw no hits. Between him and Draisaitl, the Flames need to take advantage and (finally) grab a 2-0 series lead.
GFG!

Once again, I think the two most impactful players are going to be Smith and Mc(no)D. Which is to say at least 8 goals scored in this game, including a Flames empty-netter. 5-3 final.

I know the first instinct is to be a bit sympathetic to hurt players. But this is the playoffs man. The Flames need to run through those two as often as they can.

Don’t touch Nurse. Oilers are worse when he plays.

It would be so like the Flames to come out flat and lose game 2. Edmonton is going to come out flying after Markstrom crapped the bed and gave them new hope. Hope the Flames exorcise the ghosts of game 2s past!

@Fan960Wills
No Leon Draisaitl at #LetsGoOilers morning skate, but with Devin Shore skating with Connor McDavid and Evander Kane, I suspect he’ll play in Game 2 vs. #Flames tonight.

Todays Refs
Kozari and Lee are reunited tonight; the pair worked Game 7 between the Bruins and Hurricanes and Game 1 of Blues/Avalanche in Round 2, which saw just four penalties called. This is the first time either official has seen the Calgary Flames this postseason.
Steve Kozari worked the opening round with Kyle Rehman, taking the ice for LAK/EDM Game 1 (EDM L 3-4), NSH/COL Game 2, NYR/PIT Game 3, FLA/WSH Game 4, and MIN/STL Game 6.

Someone remind me how many consecutive game 2's the Flames have lost? I think it's around 6 or 7? Would be really nice to break that futility streak tonight.

My wife invited her whole extended family over for dinner tonight ... and I just got a call from someone offering me a pair of Club seats for the game. Looking for clever, ingenious ways of wiggling my way out of the dinner without getting into a marital problem.
