Funny hearing so much Leafs hate. It's pretty simple for me.

They're playing Tampa Bay. I ####ing hate that team for about a billion reasons, so anyone they play except for Edmonton will get my support.

But they also have Gio and Brodie trying to find some playoff success, and a starved fanbase that I think has been quite patient with this team despite the lack of success. I think that those fans deserve a few wins.

I don't care what happens to the Leafs after this series, but by god, I sincerely want to see them stomp on the Lightning.

Not even Gio and Brodie can make me cheer for the Leafs. I don't think I even could have if Kipper would have accepted the trade to the Leafs. I just would have wanted him to play well in a losing cause.
