It's not enough to be down by five....the Press have to score on themselves, too

May every series besides ours go to triple OT every game.
Wear yourselves out.

Nicked this from elsewhere...I don't miss him:
Big Sieve Dave's career playoff stats:
0-2, 15.17 GAA, .636 SV%
8 goals on 22 shots in 31:39

It was quite clear Flames had no confidence in the guy in the playoffs. For good reason.

He's literally never mentally recovered from his All Star selection by default, followed by his showboating after the Oilers shootout win a week or so later.
His debacle against Dallas in the last playoffs should've sent him packing from the Flames before last season.

So weird that his career was never the same after that moment. Never seen a player decline so fast in his prime years with no involvement of injury.

Really? I've often seen it with goalies, going all the way back to ‘Pokey and the Bandit’ (Reddick and Berthiaume) in Winnipeg in the 80s. The history of the league is littered with goalies who looked good for a year or two and then fizzled out.

Jim Carey too before his movie career took off.
EDIT: Apparently he had injuries, but I don't think that was DiPietro style injuries.
