I wouldn’t be surprised if they wanted to have a chat with him. They seem to be pretty strict about spear like that after plays.

I almost guarantee Sutter is pissed they had the puck 2 feet from the blue line and turned it over

You know what Sutter would say.

Agree to disagree on that one. It doesn't matter, we'll get it back.

Yes Sutter put the 2nd line with the 3rd pairing out to finish the last 15 30 seconds of that PP.

Maybe, but he will say that’s a save that needs to be made more. In fact, I’d put money on it.

That will get looked at for sure, I would think. Maybe warrant a fine, but I would very surprised if it resulted in a suspension.

Nice flip over to the other game just in time for a Dallas goal

It looked to be pretty “low” on the body as well.

Off topic but something is wrong with some broadcasts for sure. I was watChing an nba game the other night and I looked at my score app and saw the the game was actually like 45 seconds behind. I knew there was like a 5-8 second difference but I thought that was crazy.

Yes we know Monahan can do no wrong in your world.
Fact is, Sean Monahan gave the puck away and it ended up in our net. If he gets it out like any other player would have, it cant go in our net. It's that simple.
Sean Monahan needs to sit a couple of games. He does nothing.

We will probably find out in the post game
Obviously both things are true but If I know Sutter it's the blue line play. I'd also like to see a proper replay, might have hit something or a screen.

Marginal mistake at the blue line. Terrible goal on a soft dump in.
One is a failed clear that happens dozens of times. Not saying it was great, but it’s common. No muffin let in and it’s a nothing.

Could you imagine if that was Johnny turning over the puck luck that.

Such a shame to see Sean, a mere shell of the player he used to be. Seems like he's moping all the time lately. Body language isn't good.

Well, I can say the same but in reverse. If Markstrom stop the long distance stinker, it becomes a non issue play. Monahan didn't get it out, it could happens to anyone. It's not like Monahan didn't get out and Sharks scored in a mad scramble. A long distance shot with no tip should never end up in the net.

Anyone blaming Monahan on that was has a pretty clear agenda.
Markstrom is actually being respectful, not wanting to break Kiprusoff's shutout record.
