That was backs man at the end. Not sure why he peeled off. Flames should have held the lead. Nhl reffing is horrible. Bring it at the dome.

100 shots against the last 2 games. they didn't deserve to win this game and don't deserve to be tied in this series.
i've never seen such a poor playoff showing. even the flames 2 years ago who got swept at least outplayed anaheim for large portions. complete failure from half the roster and especially players high up in the rotation
at least we don't have to watch much more of this

Wasn't too happy with a lot of individual players during this season.
Johnny, Monahan have to carry the mail for this team at some point.
There were some guys that played really hard in this game, and Smith deserves a lot of accolades.
The Avs are all kinds of high speed and aggressive forecheck, I just haven't seen that aggression from the Flames in this series.
I will say that this is Peter's first playoff run and I think its showing I'm hoping he learns from this.
I can't be mad about this, its just typical of being a Flames fan, I guess we haven't suffered enough this year.
I'm not going to comment on the reffing anymore except to say F you.
I think the Avs close this thing out on Friday and I can shave this itchy beard off and get ready for no CFL season as I think that its not going to happen.
At the end of the day, this core has to learn from this one and show pride on Friday, and going forward.
What a waste of a really amazing series of games by Smith.

Hard to win playoff games when your top two forwards are a collection of gutless pussies and are scared to death of getting hit or going the hard areas. We aren’t winning a series with Monahan as our 1C.

Honestly embarrassing. Timid to the max. Go home Flames.

Why is that getting carried away?
Both players have played like garbage over the past 2 playoff series. Get some players who aren't afraid to be hit. Gaudreau is absolute embarassing out there.

That lost puck battle in the corner after the dump-in during the PP in OT pissed me off so much. No urgency at all.
Janko, Neal, Gaudreau, Monahan were huge disappointments. So were Backlund and Frolik near the end of the game.

I'm done with Gaudreau. Just another Demar Derozan - will never win with him.
Monahan has hope, he was grinding and banging even though you could tell it is WAY out of his element, but Gaudreau had like 5 weak plays in a row and just couldn't get there.

Anyone defending Monahan can F*** off.
Where is your saviour Calgary Puck? Cause he's not even close to being our #1 Centre. Don't even get me started on Neal and you fanboys who thought he could "bring playoff hockey". Anyone who said that after 15 games is an absolute idiot.

If we only iced players that deserved to share the ice with the Avs, we’d struggle to make up one line.

I wonder how many times Rick Ball has had to say something like, "[AVALANCHE PLAYER NAME], steps in front of Neal..."

Can Gaudreau and Monahan elevate their game? It was amazing in OT watching Gaudreau expect the puck to come to him and to just casually flip the puck to safety and when he did skate with it, not too much gas.
Top line of Avs were out there for what? 30 minutes and every shift they created chances, skated fast and hard.
Why can't Gaudreau and Monahan try to match the effort?
