They did. But it was kind of a weird period. Scored twice fast, then the play went against them for a long stretch, and then Hammer scored out of nowhere.

5-3-2 in last 10 has been our worst stretch of the season.

They will stay atop the Division regardless of the result in SJ tonight.

The Sharks can kiss my ass.

Finally some secondary scoring.

Wasn't able to watch the game, had to listen to the Pens feed on Sirius XM radio.

They were giving Smith all the praise in the world in the 2nd period. This was when 3-2 became 4-2. Gist was he made some key saves to keep the Flames ahead.

Brutal post. So bad.

He was sub .900 in save precentage, had clear issues tracking the puck and battling through traffic, had zero rebound control, made a couple bad plays handling the puck, and as the game went on started flopping all over. His recent play is at best average, which luckily for this team is good enough many nights.

I thought Smith was pretty good despite letting in 4. The defensive zone coverage was pretty poor all game. Peters needs to get things tightened up here as the team gives up too many goals.
Our gaps are way too big, allowing the Pens (and other teams we’ve played recently) easy zone entries.

If you have it recorded take another look. Lucky to score those goals.

Our top guys looked really slow compared to their top guys.

But I acknowledge it’s a weird game time at the end of a long road trip.

And I’ll be fine if this continues. The big line has been holding up this team for the majority of the season. This would give them a chance to get their mojo back and not put to much pressure on themselves.

Once again, confusing "facts" with "opinions". Yours are opinions. Stick with that.

A"fact" is something that has external, and independent, corroboration and that is "true". Suspect you won't find that anywhere but in your own head.

A long road trip with some ridiculous travel involved. The guys definitely looked bagged at the end of that game.
