Gulutzan might have coached to only try and snipe corners.
I think it was Mike Bossy who said he never tried to snipe corners, just shot at the middle of the net.

I seriously doubt a systems coach like Gulutzen instructed on shot placement.

Might be looking at it too critically, but during 5v5 play Lindholm has a lot of carries which seems to be keeping the puck out of Johnny’s hands and that doesn’t seem to be working too well.
Going to watch that as things progress, because generally Johnny wants/needs the puck. He’s the “carrier” on his lines so far in his career.

I recall at least a few post-game interviews where he would point out a need to work on shot placement as a team.
