Yup. He needs some quality ice time with the top guys. Either line I'd be happy to see just to get him going again.

Seeing how this season has been going, that's not what'll happen. Look for Chiasson to score and Grubauer to get that elusive first win with a shutout to boot.

The Flames just look so slow and disorganized lately, they are so predictable in the offensive zone with zero creativity. I don't think I saw a single legitimate scoring chance for them in the first period, just weak shots from the outside

Caps scored all their goals even strength but had 1 PP last night.

Not sure it will help, the officials seem to have it in for the Flames.

They actually didn’t have a single PP last night. Dontcha know, the Oilers are the cleanest team in the league, have to be with guys like Kassian, Maroon and Lucic.

The caps look like they are playing their second in a back to back, but the Flames are also looking to be skating significantly harder and passing significantly better than in the last handful of games.

Am I wrong, or do the Flames seem very easily forced to the outside when they're on the attack? I feel like I rarely ever see the rush attack the slot and that they very frequently rush into the zone only to head wide towards the boards and try to then make a play or take a shot from out wide.

We need a 3-4 goal bust out period in the worst way. Whole team is snakebitten.

Other than that, the Oilers apparently didn't take a penalty for the rest of that game. Like really, refs. Really??

You’re right. They retreat to the boards, then try and make a centring pass through traffic and it’s inevitably broken up.

Don't forget Bennett's chance. A couple inches to the right and it's 1-0.

You are not wrong. I've noticed this almost every game this season.
