Anyone having problems with Chrome "Continue where you left off" on startup setting?

It keeps loading tabs that were previously closed.

3 tabs open, close one tab, close entire browser, start browser...it's the 3 tabs open again instead of 2.

I have no idea if this is the same issue, but my mouse and keyboard couldn't connect at all after I updated. I couldn't login or anything, and had to get a wired mouse and keyboard to be able to do anything. I just get a 'driver error' when I try to set that up.

Once you've set it up and it's running it seems good. That's was ridiculous though. I tried searching for new drivers and reinstalled things and basically wasted a few hours with it.

Can I just say that Microsoft Edge with a 144hz monitor is absolutely gorgeous to browse on? I mean holy crap seamless scrolling is something I never knew I wanted, but Chrome just feels like a clunky pile of garbage now.

Had the upgrade done yesterday and it was seemless for me. Everything works fine.

when i try doing that the mic stops responding and totally cuts out for all apps. i hve to go into system settings and re enable the mic. i cant figure it out

I am clearly not a tech guy, but the limited time I spent on Edge had me thinking the same thing. Its really nice and seems really well done. I wasn't sure if I was just buying into the "newness" factor or whether it was actually just plain good.

Ok, so in the 2nd paragraph it says this:

How to check if your PC isn’t already downloading the Windows 10 upgrade? Navigate to C:\ drive and see if it has a folder named $Windows.~BT (you may have to enable Hidden items to check this). If it is there, you are all set, but if it isn’t there, you will need to follow the instructions below to force Windows 10 downloading.

I DO have that file, so what's the next step to force the update? Seems like the entire article is about forcing the download and it starts the installation automatically when the d/l is complete. What do you do when you already have the folder?

Navigate to the folder and run setup, if that doesn't work then ignore the folder and force the download, a new folder will be created on C: and installed from there.

That is very odd. Cortana had been working rather well for me the last few days. The only issue I have is off a fresh reboot or log in I will have to click the Mic to talk to her the first time but after that she will pickup my "Hey Cortana"

Finished updating both computers. Make sure your system locale is United States (not Canada) and you are installing off a fresh reboot otherwise there will be errors. Cortana also does not work if you are in Canada.

Good experience so far for the most part.

Just a note that if you are having trouble running certain games, and the error is that you try and start the game but nothing starts (especially when started through a 3rd-party app like Steam or Origin), you may need to re-install the Visual C++ Redistributable.

I had to do this to get Witcher 3 to run.
