I wonder if DeMarco Murray's agent is leaking this tape to try and get the Cowboys to franchise him instead. Either way the timing of this is designed to screw Bryant so the source is likely someone who Bryant cut out recently. But the rumours of its contents are all over the place from "Worse than Ray Rice" to "It happened in 2011" to involvement of a Wal-Mart.

Schefter has come out and said he has been working on the story since September?? If Schefter is on it, you know there is something to it.

LOL.

The Cleveland Browns have a new logo! The world waited with bated breath to see how it would turn out and ... it was exactly the same. That's not fair, they used a brand new coat of orange. It was the kind of bold, stylistic move that made us wonder how the rest of the league would look if the Browns designed their logos.

Sad day for Eagles fans. Todd Herremans released by the team. A true warrior and one of my favorites over the years.
He had a down year but our line depth sucks. Wonder what the plan is?

Packers cut veteran A.J. Hawk
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12...er-cut-aj-hawk
The move comes less than a week after veteran Brad Jones was released. Hawk and Jones opened last season as their two starting inside linebackers. It came as no surprise given that coach Mike McCarthy said last week at the NFL scouting combine that inside linebacker was their greatest need.

Josh McCown will be joining the Cleveland Browns.
McCown, 35, went 1-10 as a starter last season in Tampa Bay before he was released this month. He started seven games the previous five seasons, and has played for the Cardinals, Lions, Raiders, Panthers, Bears and Bucs in a 12-year career.

Say what now?

The Eagles were about to trade quarterback Nick Foles, running back LeSean McCoy and three first-round draft picks to the Bucs for the No. 1 pick in the draft. It sounded believable.

I have a bad feeling about Pats losing both McCourty and Revis. That would be an absolute disaster.

Clearly then the best course of action is to use your franchise tag on a kicker.

I think the Pats will offer around 8/year, but can see the Colts and Titans of the world offering around 10.
I don't think many people expected them to keep both Revis and McCourty, but they can't lose both. Either way, Mayo and Wilfork need to restructure if both want to stay.

I just dont worry about the Pats and UFAs anymore. Bill somehow finds ways to plug holes. McCourty would be a big cap hit and they need to find a way to extend Revis at a lower value...or they can both go play for the Browns and learn that winning is better than an extra Mill.

I think Revis is slightly more important than McCourty, but would be happy with either returning. In response to the tag, McCourty said tonight that he might not be back in New England- think he was expecting they would use it on him, which means they have not really made progress on contract talks. Still some time, but we'll see.

I retract this. It makes a tonne of sense when you look at this:
Most Rushes Last 2 Seasons
LeSean McCoy 626
DeMarco Murray 609
Marshawn Lynch 581
Getting a stud ILB to pair with Kendricks for the next decade for an RB that's probably on the decline is pretty good asset management. So today the Eagles cut Trent Cole, Carey Williams, traded McCoy, and we'll likely cut Ryans. All of this leaves them with about $55M in cap space, so I'm expecting they'll b busy next week.
