They changed the first Monahan assist to a Bouma assist.
Bouma had a great game.
2 assists, +3, 6 hits, 20:17 of icetime.
Jones got an assist added on the empty net goal also.

That might have been Bouma's best game as a pro. Really pleased for him.
Colborne, Colborne, Colborne.... what can you say? Behind the net, below the red line on a cycle the guy is great. Big, uses his body well, uses his reach, gets pucks to the net.
Give the guy the puck anywhere else on the ice and he'll lose it or turn it over.
Give it to him deep, he looks great.
That's going to wear thin pretty soon.

How about just having an oreo before bed instead? Maybe with a nice chocolate porter, or a good scotch?

Missed the entire game and working late, so apologies if this is posted in the thread, but what was the assessment of Drew "Don't Call me Shorely" Shore.

First hot dogs, now Oreo's. Could we mix in a little fruits and veggies in the PGT so that we all don't end up gaining 5lbs in those few hours between the end of the game and going to bed?

Mostly invisible. Had a couple solid defensive plays but otherwise he didn't do much good or bad.

Some thought him invisible. Some like me thought him effective - not unskilled, a decent skater, not dumb with the puck. Pretty much as advertised - a decent 2-way 3rd line guy.

Any chance the Flames ask Ramo to go on a conditioning stint? He needs to agree, but why not? He hasn't played a lot in the last 6weeks.
Clearly the coaching staff was focused on defensive hockey the last 2 games (after Florida debacle).
I didn't mind the first period, the second was horrible. Typical Flames third.
Johnny with another point. Just keeps rolling. Finally Monahan gets some rewards for his outstanding play.
A lot of positives tonight. Mostly want to see BRODANO go on another hot streak!

That's not a bad idea as he has come off two injuries/illnesses in just over a month and has only played 5 games since the start of December (Dec 4, 6, 11, 16 and Jan 7th). 5 games in 6 weeks isn't enough to be up to a compete level.
Adirondack's schedule is a little light right now too. If he was sent down tomorrow (as an example) he would be able to play a maximum of 4 games during that time, with perhaps one back to back option.
Being that Ortio has shown he could take over the net, it would probably be wise for Ramo to accept the offer if given so he can get his spot back.

The sportnetsnet anchor whose name I forget (Lindsay?) Called him Joni Oreo after the first period.

Lots of Colborne trying hard to get him the puck and other forced chemistry issues as there always is with new players. Was in the wrong place for some breakouts (maybe the right place, but then the puck must have been going to the wrong place). Overall way faster than I expected and keeps the play going the right way. Seemed to always be back to the defensive end before the puck was. Really looked like a guy trying not to make a mistake and just played very conservatively.
I focused on him though specifically though, so that may skew the review
