If one even watches a full game of football they will see dozens upon dozens of dives and embellishments. Every single match. It's as much a part of the game as headers. If getting rid of it were the prerogative of the international football community, it would have been done decades ago. I don't like it either but if I were to get my knickers in a twist in the same way I'd stop watching the sport altogether.

yeah that's BS. I don't think there was a single dive in the three games yesterday. England-Italy was good too.

In fact to me there's hardly been any diving in the WC. Muller grabbed his face ok... but really that was nothing if Pepe does nothing.

Yes there was. I saw that match, and both teams dove and embellished an awful lot. It's second nature with the sport so for others it's not surprising they think nothing of it. I don't get crazy over it too (seeing people endlessly whine about it gets annoying), but to say it isn't there.. flat out lie.
