The next few years, regardless of what Feaster says, are going to be tough. Most likely we aren't going to be playoff contenders next season, but hopefully there will be some improvement, and that improvement will come from newer, younger players, who are hopefully going to play like they want to be here and haven't checked out for the season.
Just be happy that this is a short season. I don't think I would be able to handle playing every game like that in a regular length season.

I was right there with you man, to see all those half cut Oilers fans turn around every 4-6 min screaming wildly and shaking their jersey crest in my face was something pretty unbearable.It's so hard to see some of the veterans efforts last night. The start of the third period all of the Oilers players came racing onto the ice doing laps while most of the Flames kind of "oozed" onto the ice looking so despondent.
It sucks for the fans, but it must be murder on the players that are left with the post mortem.
Thank god it's a shortened season, because this really feels like the absolute lowest point for the franchise.
