That combined with the forwards coasting back. Avs have great team speed and the D were left to fend for themselves off the rush. Every time these guys play the Avs score the same ways yet the Flames are never ever prepared for them. Forwards looking awfully similar to the Keenan days - doesn't help that there is only center on the team.

He's right man, even if the Flames suck ##### they will still bust on the pick, even if it's top 5.

Any news on Kipper?

If he's going to be out any longer than another week, I almost hope he has a small setback and misses a few more weeks... the Flames will be comfortably in 14th-15th by then.

This is a bad team, no question, but you're fooling yourself if you think that's true.

8 minutes for Baertschi is unacceptable. This kid is as close to a sure thing as the franchise has ever had, and yet their doing a fantastic job blowing it.

When will the Flames management realize this?

I've heard this from him for the past 4 years. Its ridiculous.

I'm not blaming Iginla for the loss at all, but there has been a bad vibe with this team for far too long. Its time to move one.......it's no one's fault, but the time has come.

Somebody fire Feaster before he Sutters up our chances for the future. I can see that happening, a gm will do almost anything to save his skin.

That is the stupidest thing said in the PGT tontie. Not just you but by others.

The only players still here through all these coaches is Iginla and Kipper and Iggy was the best player on the ice tonite.

Maybe if Hartley would bench Glensuck and maybe try someone screening the goalie on the pp we might have won.

Yeah it seems to me that this team is identical to what it was under Keenan except the goaltending is considerably worse and in-game matchups are very badly managed.

I said after the last game that how they responded would tell me what I needed to know.

After the 1st period I felt great. Then the dreaded 2nd period

The fact this game was lost, tells me everything I need to know. Outshot, outworked and no drive.

Ladies and gentleman, your Calgary Flames. I'm usually much much more positive, but that was an inexcusable.

They are not dead, but may as well be.

I'm a die-hard Hockey, Football and Baseball fan and in all my years I have never wished for losses and supported a tank job until now. I think it's time to get ourselves a lottery pick.

I wonder if Iggy, Cammy and Jaybo could each fetch a 1st rounder plus at the deadline?

A player like O Reilly would have helped tonight. LOL.

Flames forwards are horrible in their own zone.

MacDonald with a bad game, but i did not expect a 33 year travelling back up to come in and play well every game.
