That only looked like a pass, until you see it was Robben behind it.

Champions of Europe! FC Bayern!
Congrats Dortmund. Heck of a season. They'll still be around.
Schweinsteiger, Lahm, Muller get the monkey off their back

Surprised Dante wasn't sent off, and I'm glad he wasn't, in addition to the penalty kick. The precedent was set earlier in the Champions League: accidental high boots while clearly trying to make a play on the ball are automatically straight reds with no questions asked.
Hopefully the official today isn't disciplined over disregarding that precedent as I thought he did well to let the players decide it. Congrats to the champs, as well as Dortmund on their superb season.

was away for a while and just managed to catch that final. Couldn't have asked for a better final. Borussia and Bayern both played well, both attacked well. The goalkeepers had great games at both ends. Congrats to Baryern.

That announcement had been proceeded by Neymar writing online: "I am not going to wait until Monday. My family and friends now know my decision. On Monday I will sign with Barcelona."

I dont know if I would love or hate to be Pep Guardiola next season.
Its going to be interesting. On the one hand, hes inheriting the best team in Europe, a team that tore his old team apart. So thats pretty sweet.
On the other hand though, hes also inheriting a team at its absolute apex. The best Bayern could do next season is stay the same. Thats a tough one.

I was surprisingly elated. I'm hoping that this success translates into success at the 2014 World Cup.

Talk about chasing the buck....
Quote:
PARIS -- Monaco's spending spree moved up a gear when it agreed to sign Colombian striker Radamel Falcao from Atletico Madrid on a five-year deal on Friday, establishing Monaco as a major challenger to French champion Paris Saint-Germain next season and a potential force in Europe.
The club announced the agreement on its website. No financial details were given by either club, but the cost of the transfer is estimated at 50 million euros to 60 million euros ($65 million to $78 million), with an annual salary of 14 million euros ($18.2 million) -- putting the 27-year-old level on wages with Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
