I do appreciate the rumours from the local posters because they are exciting and help give me hope that maybe just maybe the flames do sell at least a little.

There a small group of senior posters on this board that always attack people who are connected to news items and other insider info. You can tell who they are right away, they always do it (especially prevalent in this thread), and have been doing it in several threads for years. I think it's because they hate not being connected themselves (and as a result insult other people's lines of work or connections or info), and if not that, they take public message boards way, way too seriously. Sometimes people forget that coming out and saying everything they know in full, at the wrong time, can be risky. Info easter eggs are super fun and should be treated harmlessly. There's a massive reason why people in the know can't say everything when you want them to.

Either way, to those negative posters - just chill and have fun. If you don't like it, ignore and move on. It's just a message board lol.

Sec214 knows people close to the Flames org. Yesterday he posted tidbits on stuff that leaned towards the Flames possibly moving one of the 2024 UFA’s in the coming days. A poster got mad at them and accused them of spreading lies even though Sec has posted accurate info in the past. Since then it's just been a bunch of trolling from Sec and arguing between every else about leaking info, ironically in a thread that's based around leaking info

I think you missed my point.

The Flames management team invited him to see what they presented to Johnny and he thought it was laughable when every insider said they thought it was done deal and a better offer. He's the one calling out someone with information.

Did Sec214 say he was in the room when Brad is making these calls?
