I don't think anyone in Baltimore would be an Indianapolis Colts fan. Or at least fans of the Baltimore Colts would not be Indianapolis Colts fans. Even Johnny Unitas didn't associate with the Indianapolis Colts. The Baltimore Colts are just that, the Baltimore Colts. The Indianapolis Colts are an expansion team from 1984 in my opinion.

When the Colts played in Baltimore in the playoffs a few years ago. All the talk was about beating the Colts to get even for the way they left town.

I miss that old division. The Saints were starting to get a pretty nice rivalry going with the Rams until they switched the divisions around in '02. What I wouldn't give to be back in the NFC West haha.

And Saint Troy, I hear ya about having to pre-order everything back in the day. I still remember going to that huge sports store in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, back in summer '02. I swear it had everything. The only NFL team I couldn't find anything of in there(besides some crappy baseball-style jersey): the Saints. Man times have changed...

I didn't realize the Seahawks spent their first season('76) in the NFC West.

And that was always strange, NFC West with SF, NO, Atl, LA/St.L, Car in the same division, although it paid of for SF for years.

Anyone who wants to read the worst football article ever written, have at er:
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/3...was-dirty-pool

He's basically saying that the Saints onside kick was a dick move, and broke some kind of unspoken code that NFL players live by(I'm sure he knows, being a nobody and all). Should we ban play-action while we're at it? I can't believe the guy actually made money writing this steaming pile of poo poo.

The writer got eviscerated in the comment section, that was the best part of the "article".

The poll results are hilarious!

"Steve Montana" has only written one other post on bleacher report, which is actually not too shabby for an "everyone gets a voice" website. He's still mastering his craft...

I'm not to worried about it. The Olympics start on Friday. Pitchers and catchers report for spring training next week. The NFL Combine is coming up. Lots of sports to get excited about.

It is kind of interesting how I get weaned off NFL.

My fantasy pool ends a week before the end of the season.
Then MNF ends.
Then it goes from games on Saturday/Sunday to just Sunday.
Then there is a week off before the Superbowl.

So by the time the big game is over I have already been finding things to do.

It's NFL kind way to break off the relationship so you don't feel broken when it's done.

This is not good if you're an American who doesn't care for baseball. Aside from the NCAA basketball tournament and NFL draft day, baseball will dominate American sports for 8 months. It makes me want to puke.

An American who doesn't like baseball? Let me guess. You hate apple pie, bald eagles, assualt rifles, and the freedom of speech as well. Go back to Russia!

Apple pie is ok, bald eagles RULE!, assault rifles are overkill and the freedom of speech is sacred!

Yeah, not much of a baseball fan though. I was when I was a kid, now it doesn't entertain me at all. It's about one step below the NBA on sports entertainment rankings...and the NBA is AWFUL!

Gotta love Bleacher Report... Not only did the Saints use "dirty pool" to win the Super Bowl, but they also had the league on their side:

Did Peyton Manning Help The NFL Fix Super Bowl XLIV For The Saints?
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/3...for-the-saints

Roger Goodell's Weather Machine:
Quote:
Super Bowl XLIV may just be a case in point. The ratings were certainly there. Aided by the snowstorm that crippled part of the east coast, Sunday's game was the most watched football game ever, giving the NFL its highest television ratings in its history. In fact, it was the most watched program in U.S. television history.
"Manning Face":
Quote:
Prior to the kickoff of Super Bowl XLIV, as CBS showed the players on both teams going through their pregame warm-ups, Peyton Manning looked angry. Some would claim he had his "game face" on, but to me, that was not a look of determination or concentration but of anger...Why was he angry? Well, if you were told to take a dive in the Super Bowl, you might not be too jolly yourself.
If people really believe this stuff, why do they bother watching?
