Would you buy a dog at Petland?

Our dog died about a month ago, but when we do get another one(probably not for a few years) we will go with rescue or the SPCA/pound. We got ours from a back yard breeder 7 years ago, she had some sort of genetic defect(beagle) that caused her to go into renal failure and get hypertension before she was 7. After our experience with her health(she was a great dog otherwise) and watching her suffer and eventually die young, I would never do a paper/backyard breeder again.

Prairie Storm Kennels out of Saskatchewan has some great dogs. They breed Labs and Brittanys. Great bloodlines come from this Breeder as do some show/field trial winners.
