I'd avoid that if possible, although things aren't looking so good here right now either. Should get worse as the day goes on.

Have you actually driven both 2wd and 4wd drive pickups? If so, how can you say the braking is the same for both? And 4 wheel braking is not the same as braking with 4wd.

The fiancee is in Lethbridge. The roads don't look too too bad just yet, but she was looking at staying down there until tomorrow to see if it improves... but there's another storm coming?

I gotta stop provoking old man winter. Though I admit that I love snowstorms. Days like today are perfect for just driving around in 4x and pushing out stuck cars. For some reason I get a huge kick out of doing that. The good karma I bank on days like today are what's going to keep me out of purgatory for doing things like dragging mis-parked cars out of my parking lot and hiding them around the corner.

Friiiiig... my car is on the other side of the city...
The only thing more fun than probably having to dig it out is having to find a way to get to it in the first place.

I am at work by myself in a big ticket Retail environment. It's a ghost town. I did do an amusing almost 360 on the Deerfoot at an off-ramp. That was fun.
