That's like humans stepping onto the moon with no oxygen tank. I mean, come on. Advanced alien technology can't give you an accurate read of the presence of a substance deadly to your species that's covering the planet you want to invade!? Everybody has running water in their house!? And what happens if it rains!?

Sorry guys, I really hated signs.
I know a lot of people that hated signs for those and similar reasons but I enjoyed immensely the family dynamic shown in the film. It probably IS Mel Gibson's best film and I think it shows some decent (not great but decent) insight into faith and destiny. To each his own I guess.

Braveheart was Mel Gibson's best film.

I have been corrected. Totally forgot about that one. Thank you sir.

As an aside Stirling in Scotland and the William Wallace monument is pretty neat. His (supposed) longsword is about six feet long and looks like it could do some serious damage. The only bad part of the monument is this stupid carving of Mel Gibson in Braveheart at the base of the tower. How someone could be more inspired by Mel Gibson's portrayal than the actual historical figure I'll never know. . .
