Thanks for taking the time to answer so many questions Myke. My wife and I already voted for you in the advance polls, but hopefully the answers get some undecideds here out to vote for you!

OK CP-ers, I need to get to some other stuff now. I'm sorry I haven't been able to get through all the questions here, but I hope that I've at least covered some of what you were hoping to know about me, my priorities, and the campaign.
I really appreciate the time you all took to submit the questions (and laughs!) for me here! Hopefully I'll see you on the other side of Monday and you can hit me up in an official capacity. ✌️

There's a large segment of the board you can win over here if you elaborate or do a campaign speech in Tamarian.

I would move to Ward 7 to vote for someone who did a Campaign speech in Tamarian.

Well, at least one of the people I voted for won.

I'm all for Myke, but is it safe to call yet? The Elections Calgary page shows only 17 of 72 polls reporting.
I want it to be true.

Maybe you're right, I just saw he was up 1400 votes or so and figured that's probably not going to reverse itself. But I don't know.

I think most of the outstanding votes are from the early polls and mail-in ballots (the City's plan was to get all day-of votes counted before they stopped last night). Although there are a lot of polls remaining, it probably won't be that many votes from each one.

I think Myke ran a pretty smart campaign. Kept his focus on the ward, has some specific points of views instead of just trying to be everything to everyone, came across as generally relatable and practical, and as a progressive candidate smartly avoided needlessly wading into the social-engineering/climate stuff that puts many (like myself) off. I had no idea who he was a couple of weeks ago, and I don't align with him on everything, but he got my vote. His newsletter also had great graphic-design, which didn't hurt.
Plus he has good positive energy...which will get ground down, but something we can use more in this world.

There can't be 72 polling stations in the ward? That disparity of ~50 reported polls on each of the 14 wards I assume is coming from advanced, and based on the number of people who voted advanced, divided across 14 wards, I don't see it likely to sway Myke's win away.

Elections Calgary page shows this:
Number of voting opportunities reporting: 17 of 72
So maybe they are not polling stations but something else? I dunno.
