I don't think the team is worse than Ottawa, I think the Flames have a lot more better players. But they are playing mostly crappy, most of the time. The Winnipeg game was a lovely respite from a total lack of intensity.

It's funny how we all see the team, the one poor period, one okay and one great one. That's called a pattern. Patterns are the domain of the coaches to see and curb. So while yeah Monahan/Dube/Bennet had a poor game, those big patterns need to be curbed and just aren't.

I just don’t get why Tre had to give a 2 year contract to Ward. It’s not like he had a briefcase full of other NHL offers. Hell he would have taken a month to month deal.
