Sophomore slumps do still happen. Mono and Johnny managed to defy it but it wouldn't surprise me if Bennett isn't as lucky.
18/18 was fantastic for a rookie season. I think if he pots at least 15 then he's still on track. Still hopeful he breaks out. It won't be 60 points, but 40-50 is doable for him.

can't believe I'm actually addressing this ...
if you believe player PDO is a rank of luck, especially early in a season then one would arrive at the following conclusions.
Players not likely to continue what they've done so far (sag)
1. Stajan 112.5
2. Chiasson 108.7
3. Bouma 107.2
4. Wideman 105.5
and on the other side of the coin, players likely for an uptick in luck based on what's happened so far.
1. Gaudreau 89.4
2. Monahan 89.6
3. Bennett 90.3
4. Hamilton 91.3
5. Brodie 91.8
So interesting to see Wideman pointed out for PPG in the positive and Bennett now called a bust.
It's four games

Really? You think a 4th overall pick who was number 1 ranked by Central Scouting never scoring 20 goals or 40pts in a season wouldn't be considered a bust? I definitely think that is a bust
I do think Bennett will be a great player
