Is it just me feeling Gio is playing a quiet, but effective game? Smid also looks good with the occasionally pinch. The Ds are doing an excellent job tonight

It would be Edmonton

I believe that was the Steve Staios special
Really thought the Flames were on the way to the playoffs after following this one online while in the States.

I still can't believe we landed Dougie Hamilton. This time last year, he was probably one of the most untouchable young D's in the league.

I thought Smid was pretty solid and added some physicality we badly need.

He was really good tonight.

Him and Brodie will anchor our d-core for the foreseeable future and that is awesome.

Gio is showing flashes of his old self but still looks like his skating is a step behind and he is not comfortable shooting the puck.

Smid had some massive pinches that kept the momentum in the Flames favor. Also, he let Wideman play his natural right side which I think made Wideman much better.

Niemi made no saves in the shootout...but technically neither did Ramo

Bob Hartley singles out Ladislav Smid for outstanding play ... And he is right. Smart pinches and excellent positioning #Flames

He hardly skates with the puck at all anymore. I don't understand why. He didn't injure a leg.

I can't believe Flames fans were ready to run him out of town last month.

I got home just after the third period started. Good timing.

Next game will be huge. It seems like every time this team has a good game they get blown out the next game.
