I know they beat the Flames and have Kesler but I gotta say I'm on the Ducks wagon the rest of the way. Such a fun team to watch and I hate the other 3 teams left (don't really hate Tampa but I never want them to win another cup after their tainted win in '04).

IMO, the weak link today was the Captain...he struggled with the puck in the O zone, and his turnovers killed sequences of pressure and possession...even on the rush, he was slow to react...there was a sequence with Kane and TT, where Toews failed to notice the touch pass that would have sprung him with a chance to tie the game.
Well, this was clearly a goalie win for them, as Andersen kept them alive when they couldn't clear the zone...they scored on a couple of broken plays...we need to attack the net with more urgency, the ENG occurred as we took too much time on the perimeter.
I don't really blame Toews for this loss. IMO Chicago outplayed Anaheim for most of the game, especially the first period even though Anaheim scored first. Chicago just couldn't finish on a number of good scoring chances.

The goat for Chicago has to be their power play. The Hawks just couldn't get anything going on the pp.

Armchair...the 'Hawk forwards were wasteful with possessions, Toews seemed, particularly, to struggle with the puck...certainly, the 'Hawk forward corps has to do a better job of finishing.

The Ducks will be tough for any of the remaining teams to solve. The Rags, Bolts and Hawks just aren't big enough to slow them down.

I like Chicago but I can't see the Hawks winning this. Like the Flames, injuries are depleting the blue line. Meanwhile the Ducks are healthy, and if they do get injuries, they have more depth - good players in reserve that they haven't even given any ice time yet.

Meh, its game 1 and it wasnt great.

I hate how Perry and Getzlaf have become ice-level lawyers whining and complaining to the refs all the time.

Even in that game Johnson was getting tired of it, he even said at one point about Getzlaf complaining incessantly about where the faceoff should be; 'just shut up and take it!'

I'm pulling for the Hawks in this one and I think they have the experience to get it done.

They didnt play well, but the Hawks have always shown that they have a ton of higher gears to hit yet.

They're just lulling the Ducks into a false sense of security.

I am not so sure about the doom and gloom, the Ducks won a home game that Andersen stole. The 'Hawks dominated possession, shots, chances, zone time, etc...the Ducks' size wasn't the difference, efficiency in scoring chances and an ENG was...

Minor lineup change for the 'Hawks tonight...Rundblad back to the press box...Kyle Cumiskey to the 3rd pair...Cumiskey is a smallish D-man that can skate well, and has better defensive instincts than Rundblad...I expect only 8 to 10 minutes TOI for him.

Chicago has out shot the Ducks 8-1 so far. Both of the Blackhawks goals were on the power play.

Even a team as strong as the Hawks have been hemmed in their own end by Anaheim's forecheck, even looking lost and outmatched at times.
