Scurfield Humanitarian Award is presented annually to the Flames player who best exemplifies perseverance, determination and leadership on the ice, combined with dedication to community service off the ice. The Calgary Flames are honoured to present the 2015 Ralph T. Scurfield award to Joe Colborne who will receive his award in a pre-game ceremony at tonight’s game.
Since being acquired by the Flames in the fall of 2013, Colborne has been a valuable asset to the team and the Calgary community through aligning himself in a variety of community initiatives he is passionate about.
