Man, the Bailey's commercials annoy the hell out of me.. The one where the guy spills some on the girls shirt, and the campfire with the marshmallows...

Boss calls and can't get to his files... where are the files? At home on your computer! So according to GoToMyPC, you can whip out your laptop with internet access in the middle of the river, and get those files for your boss.

Hahaha that, "It's dry and doesn't even smell bad" commercial is totally hilarious. Have to agree wtf were they thinking? Must have been rated "The best commercial ever!" in Europe, and they wanted to bring it to us.

I cannot believe that the voices have been redubbed. Can't wait to see it again... Reminds me (the horrible dubbing) of that Sunny D commercial with the "purple stuff"

Best commercial on the air right now? The Future shop guys shooting lasers from their crotches. I laugh everytime, can't see it enough...

There is a commercial for a doll of some sort. It's being double and triple shifted now because of Christmas coming up. You don't even have to SEE the commercial for it to be annoying. It has a song. I don't know all the words. But it at some point some little girl sings "Totally Beautiful, Totally beautiful".

Words can not describe the combination of rage and nausea that sweeps over me whenever I hear it.

I've been wondering if that was a Brenda Lee recording. I know the Christmas one is, but that hippopottamus song kind of sounds like her too. Anyone a little more aged then me remember that tune?

That makes more sense. The voice sounded a bit younger than a 13 or 14 year old Brenda Lee. Thanks for the info!

Yea, I've actually liked the past few Futureshop commericals, for whatever reason, I suprisingly enjoy them and they get a few chuckles out of me.

I like the fat black guy they have on now, he's like a manager or something, I don't know why, but I find him pretty hilarious. The one where the guys are all coming in to get the new release dvd's, and he drops his towel, and you see his face, good stuff.

That one kills me, too. It's so funny how proud of themselves that they made the commercial. It sure beats the hell out of the escalator commercials they used before.

I found that one humourous because of its over the top nature. I just love over the top humour and cheese. What can I say? I'm a fan of absurdity.

That song is so infectious! All I have to do is see the commercial (or hear it on the radio, now) and the song is locked in my head. Especially the last phrase with the full step up when she sings the word "too." "...love me, too."

Cute is how I first described that song/ad.

Then they played it on every show I seemed to watch.

That song now infests my brain like a bad case of meningitis. Make it stop. Make it stop.

I loved that Money Mart commercial with the guy so desperate for money he comes a punching doll for a women's self defence class. Has that red dot painted on the crotch of the padded suit. Priceless.

EDIT: Speaking other other bad Ford commericals. Who the hell greenlighted the "Star Trek" themed commercials for the new Windstars? Not only are you breaching the stygma of minivans, but now you use a nerd theme to go along with that. Awesome. Just give your prospective buyers a wedgie why don't ya!

did anyone read the macleans article about how much of a wuss the canadian tire guy is?

i think thats why they pulled him, his fat son, and his uppity wife from most of the spots.

the 'newer' families are just as lame.

while im on topic, my vote for biggest loser who infuriates me the most is the neighbor of the canadian tire guy. total moron. looks at the drill in the guys hand and exclaims 'whats that?!', and when theyre both under the car and he says 'ooh, theres a rusty one, let me try...' - one can only hope that it was the main engine support bracket bolt and that the engine lands on their heads...

and finally, again as part of the ct rant, i cant STAND the talking dog, or the rail thin smug mom who bought all her crap at ct.

EAT SOMETHING!!

in fact, in reality, most commercials really bug me.

i think all advertising agencies should die a slow horrible death.
