I still get together with a handful of friends (and see some classmates here on CP as well).
4 of us who have been good buddies since Grade 7 (20+ years now) get together once a year and go somewhere in Alberta for a weekend. We've done some real off the wall stuff that I would never have done otherwise. Good guys, good fun.

Juno Beach, class of 09... I was there back when the school shared a location with Lord Shaugnessy by Central, what a dump that location was.

essentially, a day you planned out yourself. There were four one-hour blocks total, two in the morning, and two in the afternoon. You could study in the cafeteria for an hour, play in the gym for an hour, do a mandatory science lab another hour, etc. At the end of each hour, a teacher for the room you were in would sign in your agenda that you had been there, and at the end of the day, your TA was supposed to check that you had signatures for all 4 hours. My TA didn't check our books, though I think she trusted us, because we were good students. Instead of getting off early on Fridays, like at many high schools, we only had to be at school at around 10 am on Wednesday morning.
I graduated in 1996.

Diefenbaker 1998. Can't say I have any bad memories but can't say I had any memorable ones either. I definitely enjoyed my university time better. But at least it was better than junior high. Colonel irvine was a dump. That's for sure.

St. Francis for three quarters of a year in Grade 10. I really enjoyed model Parliament and the seasoned french fries from the burger joint down the road. Lowlights included freezing my ass off running round that damn golf course.
Finished High School at St. Paul's, Bessbrook, Northern Ireland. Made some really good friends at that school, but man, it was brutal. From the purple tie, grey sweater and black trouser uniform, to not even being able to cross the road to go to the store when 18 yrs old. Wtf?

We had our 20 year reunion this summer. Those that were d0uchebags, still are. And the slutty preppies are still slutty, just fatter.
I've had 3 ex-boyfriends die over the years from various ways and at least 4 do jail time.
And W5 had a special in '91 that had us ranked as one of the top ten worst schools in Canada. (might have had something to do with the drive by shooting at lunchtime that year)
I'm surprised I turned into a (somewhat) normal human being with only one child in wedlock and no criminal record.
