Another update. I got the dreaded "friend vibes" rejection message. I kind of felt I was up against it as she was a little above my weight class with her premium looks and status. She had a nice personality and all but was a little hoity toity living in Bearspaw and her ex being a rich dude. I'm a little too much regular Joe for that type of lady but I do appreciate her giving me the chance. On to the next one...

Swing for the fences and say "I figured, you are way too hot for me and way above my class, thanks for the coffee".
Maybe get some pity sex or she never hears compliments sex.

Pulling a date like that should still be a boost to the self confidence, regardless of outcome. You got the date and lots of others tried and didn’t.
In any case here’s an unrelated gif of a koala prepping some eucalyptus.

What is that white fish that is buttery light and best? I remember having amazing fish at river cafe and savoire fare a long time ago but have never been able to come close to recreating it at home. Sablefish? Halibut? I don’t remember.

Never had any fish that beats shore lunch walleye/pickerel, right out of the river, into my belly! Mmmmmmm

We can all live vicariously through EE!
I admire your courage EE, if I was in that situation today I'd be pretty scared.

Ha ha ha. So I had three coffee dates planned last week which to be honest was too much but being my first week on the app I just accepted the requests as they came. Already mentioned the first one. The lady I was supposed to meet Saturday cancelled on me as she decided she was going to give her ex another chance. Deleted her Bumble profile before I could even reply to say thanks for the opportunity. Sunday date went really well. Met at Kensington for a coffee and took a nice walk by the river. Got her phone number and will be seeing her again.

People with vehicles that honk when they lock the doors always do it more than once. Does their brain not register what the first honk was?

I have been guilty of that. But i can also pick up my phone to check the time, see the time, set my phone down and then immediately say to myself, I wonder what time it is?

I'm glad all our vehicles have an option to disable that honk entirely

It really is the dumbest thing ever, designed for the dumbest of people but they're still even too dumb to use it properly.

Sometimes there's a delay and sometimes the clicks don't register properly or the beep/honk doesn't occur until the 2nd click. I think some people click 3+ times out of habit and then wander back to their vehicle if they don't identify the honk/beep that is theirs (door ajar etc.).

My car doesnt honk unless you press the lock button twice.
I make it do that just to annoy all the anti-honkers...especially in parking garages.

My old car was weird. First press of the remote locked the doors, but had to do a second one to turn off lights instead of letting them time out.
I think for unlocking though, it was once for driver’s door and a second push for all the doors.
