SPAGHETTI......
A wealthy man was having an affair with an Italian woman forseveral years.
One night, during one of their rendezvous, she confided in him that she was pregnant.
Not wanting to ruin his reputation or his marriage, he would pay her a large sum of money if she would go to Italy to secretly have the child.
If she stayed in Italy to raise the child, he would also provide child support until the child turned 18.
She agreed, butasked how he would know when the baby was born.
To keep it discrete, he told her to simply mail him a post card, and write Spaghetti' on the back.
He would then arrange for child support payments to begin.
One day his wife said, ‘Honey, you received a very strange post card today.'
'Oh, just give it to me and I'll explain it,' he said.
The wife handed him the card and watched as her husband read the card, turned white and collapsed.
On the card waswritten: 'Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti. Two with meatballs, one without! Request bread.

How many alcoholics does it take to change a lightbulb?
20. 1 to hold the bulb and 19 to drink until the room spins.

unfortunately no...i'm too cheap to own a camera (other than the one on my phone, which really isn't worth it) and my sister couldn't find hers, so i enjoyed it sans technology...but i assure you it was quite impressive...i was in camrose just when it started, and the lightning and thunder felt like they were right over you...took a while to get to our place, but when it did...wow...coulda used it a couple weeks ago, but rain is rain

I love Alberta for its freak summer storms....besides being able to walk to the Dome sitting out on my condo deck and watching the hail/rain/thunder/lightning is a close second it was always amazing to watch!

Mushrooms can really make or break the steak. Glad to hear they were outstanding.

Some odd stories from AmusingFacts.com:
Family To Spend A Week In Shop Window
A department store in London is looking for two adults and two
teenagers to spend a week living in a shop window for their
store. The Knightsbridge store Harrods and white goods maker LG
Electronics are auditioning people to replace the mannequins.
"The hope is that the event will be like Big Brother, where you
can see how people react with one another," said the spokeswoman
for the companies, Katherine Selby. The four people that will
be chosen will be given training for a week on acting and their
media skills. The "family" will be displayed between May 20 -
May 25 for everyone to see. However, they will be allowed to
sleep at night in a London hotel.

First things first, I'll let you know how the de-ghetto the yard works out tomorrow. Then we'll have to see. In the meantime, I'm sure these post-BBQ reports are just about as good as the real thing.

Not really. See, I live in an apartment iwthout a balconey. What that means is that I cannot have barbeque. So I read your stories, and I smell the neighbours, and I just drool. I don't get to taste it at all. It's not even close.

No, you should probably invite your best friend over like a good best friend would. You're certainly no Lightning McQueen to my Mater.
