I like the goal song they chose this past season. I don't think we should change it now. That being said, I didn't mind the one that was just posted.

I don't mind Righteous Smoke and out of the choices that were given last year that was the best one, IMO. Being a fan of WWE I recently heard a new theme song that was briefly being used for an up and comer and upon hearing it, I couldn't help but imagine it being a great hockey goal song, and more specifically one for The Flames. Needless to say, this theme is no longer being used by the guy to avoid copyright costs. I understand Monster Truck is probably here to stay for the foreseeable future, but I think the fact Ottawa already had it took away a lot of the appeal it had. Anyways, here's the song.

The current song is terrible. So generic. At least Barbara Streisand was unique.

Both songs are fairly unique i guess, and both are terrible.

This was the problem with putting a vote to the fans, the people who care the most to vote are music hipster types who's biggest concern is that a mainstream song not be selected because it's selling out . Even though the song is going to be played at a mainstream event to over 19k people.

Agreed. I tried to give it a chance, but generic is such an apt description.

Still don't know why we moved away from 'Shot Down in Flames'.

Honestly, I can't even hear the new song amidst the cheering when I'm at the dome, nor can I make it out on TV. It's as if we don't have a goal song!
