So Glen texted me back asking me if any of you guys have tried calling or texting him.

So besides emails, has anyone used the number I pm'd to try to contact him?

I phoned a day or two back, but didn't get through. I haven't really had the time to phone since, so either AC or Jay will give it a try.

I hate school. I hate it so much right now.

Moustache Enthusiasts is a great name. Trust me you don't want to take things too seriously.

Also if you guys want to set up a scrimmage against Hoob Nation I'd be happy to try and arrange things and the teams can split the costs.

Just got an e-mail back:

Thank you for your interest. Due to the limited number of team spots available returning teams are given first priority. We will add you to the mailing list and notify you when the public registration opens.

not sure if you guys have seen this or not:

Winter 2011 Men's Registration

Details (Price, Dates, Locations,) Of the Winter 2011 Season have been posted on the site here

Game Times are looking to be:

Saturdays 12pm - 2pm at YWCA, Each team to have at least 1 - 2 Saturday Games

Sundays 4:30 - 6:30pm at YWCA Each Team will have at least 3 Sunday Games

Tuesdays 8:30 - 10:30pm at Cardel Each Team Will Have 2 - 3 Tuesday Games

If Tuesdays or Saturdays work better for any teams, then we will can schedule you for more, in turn freeing up more Sundays for the other teams

We Currently Have Canadians in for Saturdays as their preference

It looks like there will be two divisions of 6 for the Winter, an A & B division allowing for more balanced match ups

Crap I forgot about this thread until I saw it. I'd definitely be interested in playing. I returned to the party a little late so if I can sub or something that'd be cool. I'm sure I could round up some people to play in an exhibition game pretty easily. My friends and I often rent the gym in Lake Bonivista (beside Frank McCool) and play shinny there every other week. It's a decent sized gym and it works out to be under 5 dollars per person.

Hey if you guys get registered do you have a goalie yet?
I currently play goal for 2 GHL teams, one men's and 1 co-ed.
My men's team is still flip-flopping over returning or if they can get the guys. (several quit after this season).
I'd be interested if needed.

Having a goalie would be great. Im not sure we have anyone that has expressed wanting to be goal (although we have a decent back up if need be)

I was going to grab the goalie from my league, but I would much rather keep it in CP.

I'm going with Mustache Enthusiasts for our team name, I just got the registration form.

Also, Early Registration ends December 15

What do we want our jersey colours to be?

I'm personally partial to Safety Vest Yellow (or Orange) with reflective stripes

What is everyone's jersey size? I don't want to buy everyone XL jerseys just because those fit me.

So it seems cost to sign up for the league is going to be $1075. If we get one of those disposable Visa cards that would probably be the best way of doing it.

What days are the Bonavista rec open for Ball Hockey? If we get everyone out that day and collect cash that might work out.

For jersey preference, anything works for me. I'd prefer a size medium.

I have no problem fronting a large portion of the registration fee if it helps get the team registered early.

I'm thinking we'll get some mediums, larges, and XL's. But it would be nice to have an idea of how many of each we need.

I'd imagine only the goalie would need the XL, and the rest could be 50/50 in terms of M and L.

I don't really care about the jerseys...what ever you guys feel is best.

I'd also be willing to front a bit of the registration fee if needed as long as it gets us a spot
