It's amazing. If you're driving, park at near the Calgary Curling club (there's a Municipal Parking lot there) then you can just walk across the pedestrian bridge into Prince's Island and over to River Cafe.

To seal the deal after dinner, walk back toward you car, then walk up those stairs to the top of the bluff to Crescent Road and take a stroll. Amazing views of the City and the mountains from up there. It's impressive.

Awesome, only place in Canada that offers it. I called them and the zorb is under construction until Monday.

So I think I'll go Tuesday and give them a day to make sure it's safe

edit: on a side note, it's $33 for a ride and $20 for the second one. Just for those who might be interested.

Also the Living Room on 17th ave is pretty sweet.

A place with a really cool patio downtown for lunch:

Other fun things to do:

she isn't a high maintenance girl, so i don't need to take her to some crazy elegant place. i appreciate all the tips/advice from the cP community.

For a nice, but not too crazy dinner - try Brava Bistro on 17th. Nice food, good vibe

Patio Lunch - Stephen Ave is probably the best bet - Blink, Murrietta's second floor balcony patio, James Joyce or Flames Central.
