I've seen someone park their MB SUV on the concrete/gravel island between the actual parking spaces and the main roadway because it was right in front of the door. Again, there was plenty of space 6 or 6 spots down.
Haha, you know what, I have never even noticed that. It is pretty hilarious.

Same!! I actually really like Goodlife because I like the spin classes and the weight lifting group classes. And I like the women's only area.

When I lived in Brentwood I used the city gym at Winston Churchill pool, decent but small facility and more of an old folks' fitness center, but that just made me feel like a badass doing heavier lifts than the old men in the weight room. Can't remember how much I paid but I know it wasn't much compared to the $18.50 a WEEK I'm paying now... grumble

I've been a member at Westside Rec Centre since it opened. I still go there even though I don't live in that area anymore. It has pretty much everything, and is a good value for how often we use it. Sometimes I think they could put a cap on membership because it can be quite busy at peak times.

Take a dip in our Aquatic Park, work out in the Fitness Centre or drop in to a great exercise class in our Fitness Studios. Try something new and climb our Climbing Wall, drop in for a game of shinny hockey, or take a spin around the Leisure Ice Arena. Youth will be especially be interested in Westside's Youth Wellness Centre, Skatepark, outdoor Hard Courts and the Homework Help Room.

i joined a new gym just today after moving to our new house (here in mississauga, so which gym isn't really relevant to the thread).

That being said, being a steady gym member at a variety of places over the last 15 years, it is amazing how different a gym is (based on the age/demographic of the members present) at 8am vs at 6pm.

i went to join last night after work, and the place was just packed with young adults, most of whom were juice head guys, and unreal/hot women... seemed like a massive meat market. Almost had me not wanting to join, so took a temp/trial membership. I usually workout before going to work, so went this morning, and it was packed with older folks, and the only juice heads there were women (which was odd, haven't seen this kind of volume at any other gym).
