Way to Go! Watched the second half on roughnecks.com as I was coaching lacrosse myself earlier in the evening. I was really disappointed that there was zero highlights on Sports Centre or SportsNet. Not even a mention. Yet they have time to run through every single baseball game inning by inning. How many people in Canada play lacrosse versus Baseball. I was very disappointed by the big guys and their lack of coverage.

yep, sounds about right. its dissapointing. im just glad we got to host it last night, ton of fun. it may be minor pro, but seriously...baseball vs lacrosse. even more, early season baseball or lacrosse league championship. in a canadian city. no highlights at all on tv. i guess its cuz the game wasn't on tv, but they still couldve gotten highlights from nll.com.
or at least mentioned the score! (for any lacrosse game, you never see it on the score ticker but you see just about everything else)

I agree. They have the correspondents in each city, they could have run the story if they had put any effort into it at all. Jermaine Franklin could have done a bit piece reporting for 1 minute after the game but I guess it's easier for the crew in Toronto to run pre selected clips of Milwaukee versus Baltimore in those ever so crucial spring baseball match ups.

I thought Sports Net got their license as a regional broadcaster and not a National broadcaster. I think they could have taken 30 seconds to at least mention a game where 13000 Calgarians attended. I'm sorry but for some reason I'm really bent out of shape on this one!

my guess is if the toronto rock were in the final game, there would be some coverage from the east based sports shows.. just a hunch
