Speaking of the dark ages, this whole flap reminds me of them.
It's like the decision has come from up on high that young women simply can't be trusted to
not be sluts, so if we hang this extra risk of cancer over them, they
might not be sluts.
And who should be making the decisions about the health care of Canadian teenage girls? Parents? Physicians? Educators? Or maybe old men in Italy?
And if I'm a parent of a girl and I say "I don't think I'll protect my child from cancer, and hopefully she won't have sex when she gets older", hopefully the kid hits me.
