Well Randy Duncan was drafted first overall in the NFL in 1959 and went to the CFL instead. But that isn't who you are thinking of. I coudn't tell you a single CFL draft pick ever. So I guess I am out.
Not to sound like a baby. But isn't this "NFL Who Am I?". Not CFL who am I?

No problem. That is why I picked Randy Duncan because he was picked first overall in the NFL in 1959 but opted to play in the CFL. But that was after the NFL changed its draft date in 1956 so I was a little confused. But I woudn't have picked Burris anyways.

I never really got to know many pro athletes but Kurt was one of them. For him the decision was quite simple. Edmonton paid more.

Well since Displaced Flames Fan doesn't appear to be posting a question. I'll go ahead and get the ball rolling agian.
I was my teams first ever draft pick.
I only missed one game in my entire career.
I am considered the greatest player ever in my teams history.
I am considered the best player at my position in NFL history.
Who am I?

Another Hint.
I played at the same college as another famous Texan who is also on the NFL's 75th Aniversary team.

You got it. The Sporting News named Lilly the best Defensive Lineman in NFL history. He was also #10 on the NFL's All 20th Century Team. The top D lineman and the top rated Dallas Cowboy on that team. Bob attended Texas Christian University, the same school that Washington Redskin great Sammy Baugh played at.

OK.
I'm person "A" I was the only player in the NFL with all five vowels in my last name.
I'm person "B" I was on the only player in the NFL with all five vowels in my last name back in 1996
