Right, but he was saying if you still wanted to delay (but keep your place in line) you probably could by saying this exact vehicle was not suitable.

To clarify, you're talking about "Northwest Toyota" right? Would love to find a decent dealer with good allocations.
Anyone have experience with Charlesglen here in town?

Missed that. I have no problem just backing out. It’d be easier if we buy another SUV first if that’s our decision.

How long should hybrid batteries last, and replacement cost? Specifically the RAV4? I’ll check with the dealer, especially replacement cost.

Looking for some advice, I have a 2018 Mercedes E400 Coupe, thinking about trading it in for a Mach E select with those being discounted 20K.
What are peoples thoughts on this? I think its a fanstastic trade at 4-5K for the new car but my wife is dead set against it.

It depends on a lot of things like your usage, availability of home charging, and if you're okay downgrading the vehicle interior a bit since I'm sure the mustang won't be quite as nice.
If it fits your needs and you like the car, I wouldn't have any hesitations. After driving an EV for the last 1.5 years, I would not consider going back to ICE for my daily driver.

Your wife is a smart lady, the interior of the Mach-E feels like it was manufactured out of papier-mâché.

How long are you guys waiting for a new Corolla/Rav? Was quoted six months on a hybrid Corolla here in Sydney and didn't want to wait that long. Went up the road to Mazda, who've killed the 'mild hybrid' engines, and got a 2.0L petrol Mazda 3. Pretty happy so far, but from what I can tell the mileage is not great for a small car.

Got our 2025 RAV hybrid six weeks ago. We were told one year which would have been early 2026 but a buyer gave up her spot in the queue as she wanted a 2026. Hers was the same colour (the most beautiful blue) and everything we wanted. We got a couple of extra features for our original quoted price. It replaced our 2009 RAV; yeah, I know.
