So, the players are trying, the crowd is into it. This is a primer for the Olympics first and foremost, but it's so much better than an all star game already, I don't know why there was such widespread complaining saying it's going to be garbage. The break is a bit long and you don't want any injuries, but those are about the only drawbacks I can come up with.

It just struck me that this would be an outstanding time to take an absolutely dirty run at somebody you don’t like in this league. What are they going to suspend you for the next four nations cup? What a tragedy that would be.

Exhibition games are better than the all-star game. The all-star game is for satisfying corporate sponsors and little kids. It's cringe.

Certainly, it just stuns me the amount of people I've seen in various places saying they should just stick with the ASG without ever having watched a second of this event to see how it turns out. So far so good.

Really? People like that ASG garbage? I only care about the hardest shot competition and the speed competition. Everything else is terrible.
