Philly went with 11 forwards. Possibly Torts wants practice time before putting them in?

Saw Kuzmenko was having visa issues, not sure about Pelletier.

And they travelled 3,960 kms to do it.

They have been Flames for 4 days and they have already travelled 4,685 kms.

Wildly entertaining game, I'll give it that.

A huge tip of the cap for the effort that the Flames put in, to just refuse to quit or give in - that was a character win. And also to Vladar, who had a hell of a game. I don't think fans realize how hard it is to play one out of every 5 games, and for that game to be the 2nd of a B2B every time. He has been given maybe the worst utilization I have ever seen a goalie put through.

Also, seeing Oiler fans whine about a biased broadcast - LOL!

Vladar with a strong strat. Does he get a second game in a row to help manage Wolf's work rate?

No disrespect to Vladar, but Wolf gives the team the best chance to beat the Leafs.

You have to go with him.

There are only 3 more games until the break - it seems a certainty that Wolf will be getting them all, unless he is banged up.

Yeah to be fair this isn't even a question. Wolf absolutely gets the next game, and probably the ones after it too barring any collapse on his part.

I just worry about over exposing Wolf. Also knowing the Flames are likely to make the playoffs, that adds 7 starts to Wolf's season.

They're on the cusp of a 2 week break. Might see a few more Vladar starts post 4 Nations when the schedule is a bit more compressed

Keep that up and they are in.
We play in the worst division in the league. Playoffs is always a chance every year. I expect the Knights and Kings to drop off by the end.

The Oilers.... ugh. that stupid PP will let win the division.

He's carried the AHL team to the tune of 45-50 games (just regular season) a season for the last 3 years.

He can handle it.

Vladar is 6-1-1 now vs Seattle, he'll probably get that game before the break

Over exposing? He is 23. Not running marathons here. As long as he is not nursing an injury, he could play every game.

Brodeur often played 75 games per year plus playoffs.

Rumour is that when showing off about how easy it was to get up the steps in Philly he urinated on the Rocky statue and....apparently they're a little touchy about that...
