He was lucky Markstrom's pad stopped his own goal tap-in attempt.

Need to play more responsible in our own end. Giving up a lot of quality opportunities.

I also remember liking
Dube - Bennett - Lucic (not sure if it counts as a 4th line though)

I'm happy the Flames are playing a crappy Columbus team on the second half of this back to back otherwise they would be getting destroyed tonight.

A pretty entertaining period, chances both ways. One thing about this team early: Markstrom is looking great, and the games aren't boring. Good signs for a fan of the team that watches a lot of games.

Calgary is starting to get their legs going after the back to back. Great game so far. No one should complain.

Really hoping as the season goes on these guys get some chemistry and start playing more crisp. The amount of passes in skates/2 feet ahead is maddening

Can't be mad about that period. Solid start to the 2nd game of a B2B.
Markstrom is sharp, all lines had some decent opportunities. I'll take it.

Hubie gettin a lot of hate but he was awesome in his last two shifts, blocked a shot, brought it the other way and eventually created chance with a nice feed to Lindy and then on the last shift that might have been the most we hemmed in CLB all game. It’s not flashy, he just kinda makes things happen in a subtle way, I’m starting to see it.

13 periods in, looks like the Flames are going to need to get by on the back on strong goaltending, great D, and great depth while hoping Huberdeau & Kadri can just hold their own up front.
Still a Playoff team easily, but good lord do 10 and 91 need to step it up another few notches.
Hopefully Mangiapane & Lindholm and carry/force Huberdeau's talent outta him.
Am loving the overall style of play though. Much more entertaining for sure

33 PP points and 82 Ev or shorthanded would be amazing need to get the PP going.
Andersson always being in the wrong position and Lindholm just standing around doesn't help.
Lindholm losing key faceoffs doesn't help either when on the PP.

He does look better this game. Keeping the puck in ozone by making great plays and not giving up as many as he usually does.

I think it's the complete opposite. Huberdeau looks better this season, making things happen, the other two are just sorta.......there. They both need to get going. He's made a lot of passes that don't turn into anything.
